Inside of the Hallgrimskirkja…

By all means, the Hallgrimskirkja Church/Cathedral is a landmark worth seeing if you’re visiting Reykjavik, Iceland (whether for a long visit or a short visit). It was completed in 1986 (year before my birth), but took 41 years to build and was designed by architect(s), Gudjon Samuelsson and was designed in the “Expressionist” architecture and designed in a way to resemble the basalt lava flows of some of Iceland’s landscapes.
